Hester Bateman, London 1785, with incuse duty mark and duty draw back mark
Oval form with narrow bead rims, engraved either side with oval reserves, bow tied ribbon above and husk swags below, the slightly domed cover with flush hinge, with pineapple finial with leafy calyx, angular spout and carved loop handle, length 25cm, weight total 13.4oz.
