The navette form bowl, with inverted high upswept scroll handles, applied and chased in relief with foliate scrolls terminating with detailed flower heads, the rim of the bowl with pierced foliate gallery, with acanthus and lobed lower body, raised on a single knopped stem on an oval base, chased in relief with foliate scrolls and flowers over a stippled ground, raised on four anthemion decorated feet, height 36cm, weight 78oz.
